I'm giving up on this. Not drawing though. Well. I don't know really. But it just doesn't feel right anymore. I can't draw anything for Nature Robot that I really like. I'll still post my drawings though. I'm really letting myself down in alot of ways but letting myself move on to new projects. So we'll see how this goes.

If you're wondering why I haven't updated...here comes why. Nothing more fun than character redesign.

Yes, no more kiddie drawing, not that it wont still play in a factor, but I want to have a more serious look to everything now. Its been tough trying to figure out how to do things with absolutely no guidance other than looking at other people's drawings. Also I'm getting a graphic tablet on friday, so the revolution of the comic strp will begin then.

I've started reading Thus Spoke Zarathustra by Friedrich Nietzsche. Its pretty interesting so far, but not really much I haven't figured out on my own. God is dead, your life is a lie, live beyond what you're told, although it doesn't make much sense cause someone's still telling you to do it. Its got a weird format, too, so its kinda confusing, and there's weird references to a bridge and the overman, which I see is like what humans should become, a being beyond what they are now. Its kinda hard to tell where he's going with it, but still interesting. Nothing more romantic than crazy philospher's of the 1800's. Oh Marx, oh Engels, Oh joy. Communist Manifesto how I adore the, let me count the ways. Your preface is lovely and gets lovelier as the revisions were made to it and perfected in 1888 I beleive. Your tactfull attack on monopolies and child labour and expression of free love are grand for your time, and even now. Your appeal to laborers being exploited by factory workers to rise up against their masters and break away from a feudal system. Oh glory, oh marvel, how it is adored beyond and within. Oh how full of crap I am sometimes. Its early and I'm crazy right now, so the and thou and whomst wouldst notst distagreeth with thine words. Etcst. Cetsts. Erth A. A final conflict brings me to slumber now, within my weary wicked worn soul. So I bideth the farewell.

So I sketched this Pirate Robot for Liz<3 the other day, and I liked it, so I worked on it a little more, then just made up the ninja one. No real comic today, but my first attempt to draw with pen. I don't think I like it as much as pencil because with pencil I can get all sorts of shading going alot easier than pen. Plus I can erase mistakes, etc.

Photo Shop Glory(Sort of)

Do you like it? I just got photo shop for the first time and played around with it for about a half hour and got that. I'm gonna be working with photo shop from now on, but with the sketches for the strips on paper though still for me to follow where I'm going with it all. I'll have a new strip up tomorrow though for sure, I promise, not photo shop though, but still something to enjoy. Oh and I may be working at boarders soon so I'll have some income to improve things here and there on my art, maybe a nice pen and paper set from an art store or something, although personally I like the simple pencil and lined paper, but in the end this stuff looks nicer and is less work.
